Hawaii - Wrong on Crime

Hawaii is one of those states that is excessively harsh on non-violent crimes, and excessively soft on violent crimes.

It is a state that doesn't allow civilians to carry concealed weapons, even those without a criminal record. It is a state that considers any touching between a stripper and a customer "prostitution" and therefore has raided strip bars on that premise. It is a state that wastes time raiding marijuana farms and underground gambling casinos.

Yet, yesterday, a Hawaiian racist (Manuel Kupahu) who brutally assaulted a white man at Waimanalo Beach Park was sentenced to a year in jail. All that white man did was tell Kupahu to stop abusing his dog. Kupahu yelled "I'm going to kill that fuckin haole", then came with 2 other guys and brutally beat the white man, breaking his ribs. An offense like that ought to be at least 20 years minimum! A year in jail for a brutal beating like that is a slap on the wrist.

Also, in court yesterday, Chris Aki, the 21 yr. old ice addict who killed an 11 year old girl Kahealani Idreginal with a lead pipe. Aki was convicted for manslaughter instead of murder. A manslaughter conviction comes with a maximum of 20 years.

Aki didn't commit manslaughter, he's a murderer! He lied in court. First he confessed to police that commited murder. Then in court, he said he saw Kahealani's uncle killing her with a 40 lb. rock. The uncle refused to testify! However, a coroner said that Kahealani's autopsy showed that the type of beating she received looks more like a beating from a lead pipe instead of a 40 lb. rock! Also, Kahealani's blood was found in Aki's car! Busted!

And the people of Puuwai Momi (the community where Kahealani lived) are pissed off at the verdict for being too soft on Chris Aki.

Aki deserves a minimum of life in prison with no parole! Though I wouldn't mind seeing him executed!
