The battle of the Jesses

Sometimes in life, you must alliances with those you sometimes disagree with. It's very unlikely that you'll meet someone who disagree with you 100%. Some people may be pricks, but that doesn't you'll never agree on anything.

Here is the situation with the 2 Reverend Jesse's. One is Reverend Jesse Jackson, the well known African American liberal activists. The other is Reverend Jesse Lee Peterson, an African American conservative and a nemesis of Rev. Jackson.

On the Teri Schiavo controversy, both Rev. Jesse Jackson and Rev. Jesse Peterson happened to agree that the feeding tube should've stayed.

However, Rev. Peterson has so much hate for Rev. Jackson that scolded Teri Schiavo's parents for even embracing Rev. Jackson.

Our prayers go out to Terri and the Schindler family. I know they want to help their daughter, but they should be careful about praying with the devil in their hour of need.

Praying with the devil?

The Schindlers (Schiavo's parents) may or may not agree with Rev. Jackson on many issues, but they put all that on the side when Rev. Jackson supported their side. You gotta do that sometimes.

The Pope

Pope John Paul II has passed away.

He was the first non-Italian pope in 455 years. He spoke up against communism and other forms of dictatorships. He was loved by millions.

Soon, the search is on for the next pope. I wouldn't be surprised if the next pope is from the Third World. That is where most of the growth of Catholic Church is right now. We might have the 1st non-European pope.
