YouTube and automated transcripts

If any of you have uploaded your own YouTube videos, you would notice that YouTube would automatically make a transcript of what you said.

Problem is that it gets it wrong. Especially frustrating if you mumbled, use pidgin or slang phrases, uncommon words or any added any non-English words to your speech!

To disable those automated transcripts for each video, follow these steps

1) click on the CC symbol
2) click on the box saying "English (automatics)"
3) click on "Actions"
4) click on "Unpublish"

Google being what it is, will probably change those settings in the near future, so it could be outdated if you're reading this a few years from now.

Just mentioned the issue on facebook, someone already mentioned having the same problem with Siri, an i-Phone app that allows you to give voice commands to the phone!
