Introduction

This is my introductory post on this blog.

A description of myself: I am a sociology major at the University of Hawaii-Manoa, who plans to one day start a record label. I want to make records that goes against the political correctness of both the Left and Right.

I am a centrist with libertarian leanings on some issues. But UH-Manoa's climate is so far to the Left, that Radical Leftists like Tobin Jones might consider me "far right" just because I disagree with many of the orthodoxies of the Radical Left. Anyone who doesn't kiss the asses of the Radical Left is considered "right wing." The Far Left claims to be against the "with us or against us" doctorine, but in reality, when it comes to politics, the Far Left view is "you're either with the Far Left or with the racist, homophobic, sexist, polluting, fascist right wing nazis".

But if I was at BYU or Bob Jones University, I might be considered "far left" since I don't believe in locking up drug users with violent felons, and I don't believe that government should outlaw abortion, prostitution, immigration, sex ed, or hardcore music. But Tobin Jones and the ilk will ignore all that, because I (gasp) also dont believe in affirmative discrimination, the "Blame America for Everything" worldview, gun control, radical feminism, socialism, or unlimited welfare.

So I hope you enjoy my posts
