Note: I plan for this to be my last letter to Noriko Asato (aka Professional Victim Professor) unless she responds.  I spent months crafting this letter to explain to her why her tactics are psychologically dangerous while making sure this letter isn't classified by a threat, even Noriko Asato claims to feel "threatened" by any assertive disagreement.

But if there's any response, whether by Noriko Asato, any organization that employs her, or by any government authority, best believe I will be writing more on this issue!

Also to anyone who tries to censor this message, I have a right to express concerns to any government official I deal with, and as an employee of a state university, Dr Noriko Asato is a government official and therefore, I have a right to express my concerns on how her service is psychologically dangerous to the people she deals with!

The previous letter is here http://pablowegesend.blogspot.com/2017/04/a-letter-to-professional-victim.html

What I plan to be my last letter (unless there's a response) is below!

============================

Aloha Dr  Noriko Asato,

when I started being a student in the LIS program, my original plan is to eventually donate my future earnings to the LIS Program. But as long as they employ you, I would rather take a bullet to my head than to EVER donate ANY money to any organization that employs psychologically dangerous people like you!

When I was an undergraduate student, I loved working in the libraries because they had a nurturing work environment where my efforts were appreciated. This was a refuge from the verbally abusive environments I grew up in, and I appreciated that there were work environments that don't require dealing with abusive co-workers that millions worldwide have to deal with.

I entered the LIS with the feeling that I would have this nurturing support that I received in my past jobs at the library. I felt the appreciation from true legendary professionals like Dr Knuth, Dr Harada, Dr Bair-Mundy and Dr Quiroga. I feel the true appreciation from adjunct professors who taught classes on children's librarianship and Hawaii-Pacific librarianship.

Reality set in and I realized that the library is not immune from corruption and pettiness from people like you and Tisha Aragaki! Which is it was not only painful that you were too much of a coward to try to negotiate a solution with Tisha Aragaki. Her ways were bad enough, but your cowardice and your psychological bullying (and yes, telling people to remain silent about their grievances is one of THE WORST TYPES OF PSYCHOLOGICAL BULLYING that can ever exist) makes you a much worse person than Tisha Aragaki!

When I asked for evidence of unsubstantiated claims from Tisha about "other librarians feeling uncomfortable around me" or"I shouldn't be working with children", you told me I shouldn't be asking for evidence, as if that will calm me down. ONLY A SEVERELY stupid person could EVER believe telling  ANY HUMAN BEING that will calm tensions.

One of the most evil and satanic things a person can ever do is to tell someone to
"suffer in silence""stop snitching", "withdraw complaints against supervisors"."put your career ahead of justice"

Those are all forms of psychological warfare and are very dangerous to the psychological well-being of those you tell those things to. I would literally rather be called a "piece of s--t" or a "f----- wetback" or a"stupid idiot"  than to be told thing anything equivalent to  "suffer in silence", "stop snitching", "to withdraw your complaints" or to "put your career ahead of justice".
It's like the saying "the cover-up is worse than the crime".

Your actions are extremely psychologically cruel and I have been excessively kind towards you, even my emails towards you are excessively nice towards being that you have been psychologically cruel towards me!

You are mega-lucky I didn't mention the issue at the Graduate Student Organization general assembly! You are so ignorant to not realize that I was a part of the Graduate Student Organization, an organization of militant activists who have severe hatred towards university faculty who bully students into silence! If Dr Chin didn't over-rule you, I would've made a speech in front of the Graduate Student Organization that could've been recorded and broadcast on YouTube! You are severely lucky that I was too nice to do that!

If Dr Chin didn't over-rule, I would mentioned the issue to the state legislature when if they held hearings on Graduate Assistants and Ombuds Office. You are severely lucky that I was too nice to do that!  You took advantage of my extreme generosity. You no longer deserve generosity!

And for you to have the nerve to tell me I shouldn't challenge unsubstantiated claims against me from Tisha Aragaki? You are in an intellectual environment where anything that is said will be challenged. YOU ARE SUPPOSED TO EMBRACE THAT! You are in an intellectual environment  of higher education where people SHOULD BE ENCOURAGED to question unsubstantiated claims, where people SHOULD  QUESTION negative claims against. YOU ARE SUPPOSED TO EMBRACE THAT, INSTEAD  of falsely claiming to be "afraid" of "anger" (your definition of "anger" is anytime anyone refuse to kiss your, anytime anyone express disagreement, with you, anytime even dares question anything you say, anytime anyone even dares express objections to unsubstantiated claims against them). The very fact that you define those things as "anger" shows you are TOTALLY UNSUITABLE for academic institution of higher education, an environment were YOU ARE SUPPOSED TO QUESTION THINGS! The very fact that you don't believe people should question things makes you unsuitable for an institution of higher education.

Stop using words like "afraid", "threatened" or "anger" to deter disagreement. Stop using words like "afraid", "threatened" or "anger" to deter people questioning the things you say.  That you even try to deter disagreement makes you psychologically unqualified to work in an academic environment of higher education.

You claimed in our meeting with Dr Gazan that my emails to you made you feel "very afraid", then I apologized. But then you had the nerve to demand that I sign a paper to withdraw complaints KNOWING FULL WELL THAT WOULD INCREASE MY ANGER BY A TRILLION!  Then when I stated that I would write a blog post about this, you said "I feel threatened" even though NOTHING I SAID COULD BE CLASSIFIED AS A THREAT!  That was when I knew you LIED when you claimed that my previous emails made you feel "very afraid". You're not afraid, you're just trying to deter disagreement. Because you had the nerve to ask me to withdraw complaint, I'm going to withdraw EVERY SINGLE APOLOGY I  said to you!

You claim that my expressions of grievances was  harming the existence  LIS internship program? You claim that I'm making it hard for future for future LIS students. Excuse me? If there's any loss of credibility of the UH's LIS program, it's because your continued employment in UH's LIS program is a severe threat to the program's credibility. If you were truly concerned about UH's LIS program's reputation, than you would resign! Your continued employment in UH's LIS program is a virus not only to the program but also to the university and the library profession. I refuse to donate any money to the LIS program (which WAS my original plan before you mishandled my internship situation) until you leave the LIS program.  In other words, it is YOUR FAULT that the LIS program isn't getting more money!  Because I refuse to donate money to organizations that employ psychologically dangerous scumbags like you!

Both you and I know that your award for the promotion of intellectual freedom is an award you don't deserve!  How the hell can you call yourself an advocate for intellectual freedom when you demanded that I sign a statement that I withdraw my complaint against the Hawaii State Library?

You teach a class about ethics but you demand that I lie about "agreeing" to terminate my internship at Hawaii State Library. You should NEVER teach a class about ethics again, you lying hypocrite!

Did you really think if you thought the public (who pays your salary) would never find out about your hypocrisy?

You are severely ignorant if you thought telling me not have to anger will make me less angry!

You are severely ignorant if you thought telling me to withdraw complaints will actually make me withdraw complaints!

It is impossible to be more ignorant than that! Those who want to be more ignorant need to set more realistic goals.

You have no intellectual depth at all! You only got hired because who you got married to!  And dont' cry "sexism", because your reason for employment is different from the truly legendary librarian professors like Dr Knuth, Dr Harada, Dr Quiroga and Dr Bair-Mundy! Those women earned their positions with decades of librarianship. You only earned your LIS degree in 2011.  You only got hired because you're a crony hire!

You have no intellectual depth at all! Those women earned their positions with decades of librarianship. You only earned your LIS degree in 2011.  You only got hired because you're a crony hire!

And to add insult to injury you told me that you would meet with the HSL manager about my situation and that you will never tell me what what was discussed about me. That in itself is SCUMBAG BEHAVIOR ON YOUR PART!  And you tell me not to be angry about that? Excuse me? Do you want the world know that what you said and did? Is that something you will talk about with pride?

In the previous email, I mentioned that  One of your former students thanked me for making a video publicly criticizing you and she felt guilty for being silent about the way you treated her!

This was some of her words  expressed on facebook

  • A very important video from my friend and colleague, fellow information professional Pablo Wegesend. I'm very happy he posted this, because I too have had issues with this program and with the people he mentions in here on many occasions, and as a result I've felt incapable of pursuing a career in the LIS field...this is a very real issue that I think needs to be addressed, not just for us but for everyone who feels that they are being misguided. So, I hope that I can reach as many people as possible with this, and I feel bad that I never really stepped up like this, so thank you Pablo for posting this.

and this

  • ..it's made me feel bad, like I should have spoken up more when I was having issues with them while I was with LIS.

and this

  • Anyways, I'm going to end my rant there, but yeah, I probably should have spoken out about a lot of things, but since I'm 3 years removed from the program I don't really think it's that relevant anymore....but anything you have to say about LIS, I'll definitely be there to back you up buddy!!

You think you're slick because you treat students like that and having them feel guilty about not having the guts to speak out against you like I did?  Because now I know that I'm not the only one you mistreated! The days when people are silent about your psychological cruelty is over and will never come back! The world now knows that you are a psychologically dangerous person.  That knowledge about you is now available worldwide! You should've thought about that before you met with me!

I might've risked my career with my complaints & posts but I have absolutely ZERO regrets. In fact I am extremely proud of my protests, online posts and video speeches! I notified the HSPLS and LIS that the old days of interns suffering in silence are officially over, more obsolete than a floppy disk!

I have it made it more possible for future interns and other workers to be treated with respect because HSPLS and LIS are now forced to be more cautious on how to deal with disgruntled students and interns! Now, I have inspired other students to stand up for themselves! (I have multiple emails to back me up on that one)

I have put HSPLS and LIS on notice that people of my generation and those coming after mine NO LONGER suffer in silence! just remember that I only learned to use internet technology as an adult, wait until you deal with the generation that learned to blog or tweet before middle school! That generation will be in college in a few years!

It is sad when professors dont encourage their students to become risk-takers! It is sad when professors encourage their students to become ass kissing cowards.  Much of what librarianship is today is because people took risks to their careers! The reason why we even have talks about diversity & intellectual freedom in LIS is because of people like me who refuse to kiss ass,  who put their career on the line, who risk  becoming homeless, who risk imprisonment, so that the future generations can be treated with dignity and respect!  In fact, it is people who refuse to kiss ass, who put their career on the line, who risk  becoming homeless, who risk imprisonment that made it possible for a person named Noriko Asato to be university professors instead of internment camp inmates.

You should learn to embrace mediation, you should learn to embrace ho'oponopono, instead of just giving in to requests from internship supervisors to involuntarily end internships.  Your scumbags can ruin lives by messing with student's financial aid and graduation timelines. IF you are comfortable doing that to your students, than you have ZERO business being uncomfortable with this email, because this email doesn't cause the  level of pain you put me through!

I have a severely high level of hatred towards you and your psychologically abusive ways. If more people were  aware of how you really are, you would lose a lot of love & support!

The best thing you can do is to apologize using your organization's letterhead.  Apologize for the way you treated me! Apologize for refusing to use the ho'oponopono practices that could've solved my dispute with HSL! Apologize for telling me "not to be upset"!  Apologize for refusing to discuss with me what you talked about with the HSL director about me.  Apologize for pressuring me to lie! When you do, I will let the world know that you are finally willing to admit that could've handled things better.  If you don't , I will also inform the world that you refuse to apologize and therefore you are a psychologically dangerous waste of taxpayer's money.

Just know that this entire email can be posted in a public forum whenever I feel like making it public.

If there is no response from you, then this will be my last message to you  on this issue.  But if there is a response from you, please understand that any responses from you, positive or negative, will be made public in multiple ways, in any way I choose.

Any lack of sincere apology  AND any lack of acknowledge of how wrong your actions are WILL ALSO BE NOTED online!

Your reputation is already ruined! This is a point of no return!
If there is no response from you, then this is my last message to you!
==============

PS:   IF you really believe that "it's not good to have anger", you would've just brushed off my earlier  emails like it means' nothing, instead of calling yourself "very afraid"  and "threatened". By telling me "it's not good to have anger" and to "not be upset at Tisha's claims", you have ETERNALLY forfeited any credibility to claim that this email has made you uncomfortable.

If you really practiced what you preach to me, then you would be bothered by this email at all!  Practice what you preach!

Now, here's some accurate memes of about Noriko Asato (aka Professional Victim Professor)

This is Noriko Asato. This lowlife scumbag tells people to remain silent about negative experiences! This lowlife scumbag tells people to just be accepting of every bad thing that happens to them. Don't be surprised if this lowlife scumbag treats victims of discrimination, rape, and other forms of abuse the same way. Nevermind that this lowlife scumbag has easily hurt feelings that just can't accept having cliche's questioned in an assertive manner! Her easily hurt feelings feels afraid of assertive disagreement.

This award winning teacher of professional ethics and promoter of intellectual freedom .... gets upset when interns refuse to lie about their situation, doesn't like it when interns complain about unethical supervisors, tells interns to withdraw complaints about their situations, calls herself. "very afraid" and "feels threatened" when confronted by assertive disagreement, tells others not to be upset about workplace trauma, yet she has easily hurt feelings. Everything mentioned above is true, and the facts are available online to anyone worldwide with internet connection! This reminds me of Bill Cosby getting awards for preaching morality.

Wake up with the Brown Privilege

So-Called Justice Warriors are quick to protest when some Anglo actress wears a Halloween costume or do other "cultural appropriations".

However, they are largely silent about the 98.5's Wake-Up Crew, 3 radio shock jocks of Hawaiian & Asian ancestries who specialize in  mean-spirited jokes. Their jokes includes racist jokes about Micronesians and European-Americans, as well as cruel jokes about the homeless and disabled.

Just one example, as mentioned in the Hawaii Independent
http://hawaiiindependent.net/story/racism-in-hawaii-is-alive-and-well

On the morning of Friday, May 23, at around 7:15 a.m., Disc jockey Brandon “KreyZ” Oshiro of Island 98.5’s radio show “The Wake Up Crew” told a joke for the show’s “stupid joke Friday” segment. The joke was directed toward Micronesian immigrants, who are the most recent and least established group of immigrants to come to HawaiĘ»i, and who have suffered the brunt of racial jokes, slurs and violence in the past decade. The joke was as follows:
“Why aren’t there many beautiful Micronesians? Because babies with birth defects are usually terminated before birth.”

Imagine if you're a child or a teen of Micronesian descent hearing that stuff on the radio? You're already going through the usual childhood/teenage insecurities, but add to that, you hearing a joke that basically encourages your peers to make extremely mean-spirited jokes about you based on your ethnicity.

So basically, the 98.5 Wake-Up Crew is the the brown-skinned version of Donald Trump and Ann Coulter.

And just like Donald Trump and Ann Coulter, just when you think they can't get any lower, they do just that

Here's what someone mentioned on facebook

Island 98.5 Wake Up Crew was exceptionally rude this morning.
*woman calls in*
Wake up Crew: Woah, how old are you?

Woman: 41.
W.U.C: Why do you sound like a little girl? What happened to you when you were 7? Usually when something happens as a child your voice gets stuck sounding like you're still that age. So what, did uncle make you sit on his lap or something?
Woman: Yes, actually.
I'm speechless. Spitting ignorance over the airwaves is the norm for these imbiciles. But making a joke about child molestation? Wow. That's a new low..even for these half-wits.
[Note: I don't ever listen to their morning show for this exact reason. But 98.5 was left on from last night and, being in a rush this morning, I didn't realize what I was listening to until it was too late. NEVER AGAIN.]
iHeartRadio
Feel free to share this post.

Now imagine the outrage if Milo Yiannopolous said something like that.

He was banned from a conference for jokes like that!

But because 98.5's Wake-Up Crew are brown-skinned males of Hawaiian-Asian ancestry, the So-Called Justice Warriors say nothing!

That right there is Brown Privilege!

Excuses are made. If somebody is offended by the 98.5's Wake-Up Crew, the So-Called Justice Warriors will say " what about Rush Limbaugh?"

98.5 Wake-Up Crew is WORSE than Rush Limbaugh!

I remember spending time listening to Rush Limbaugh back in the early 2000's.  Most of the time, he isn't really that mean-spirited. Sometimes, his jokes are cringe-worthy, but that's sometimes. The 98.5 Wake-Up Crew is ALL THE TIME!

But when Rush Limbaugh says something mildly offensive, it becomes a national scandal that lasts a few weeks.

Of course, 98.5 Wake-Up Crew claim their critics aren't with the "local culture".

Don't tell me where I'm from, I grew up in Hawaii, and I'm from the same environment that some of the 98.5 Wake-Up Crew's fans are from. I'm from Kalihi and some of my relatives grew up in Waianae, so I don't need any lectures about my familiarity with Hawaii's ghetto culture.

But being from the ghetto doesn't mean you have to be a trashy person!

You can also be funny without being mean-spirited.

Frank DeLima had his controversy in the past about ethnic humor, but he has since toned down his act. He does some ethnic characters, but they still showcase their humanity and he can do those characters without being demeaning.  Just like how Robin Williams can portray characters with foreign accents without being demeaning.

But still, the 98.5 Wake-Up Crew claim that their critics can't take a joke. Well, would they make that type of joke in the physical presence of  somebody they don't know that is tougher than than them and is pointing a weapon aimed at their face? Would they make that type of joke when they are weaponless and physically surrounded by the 20 of the same type of people they mock?

Of course not! But the 98.5 Wake-Up Crew make those jokes in the safety of their radio station's walls and make fun of the vulnerable. They think that making fun of the vulnerable makes them tough!  That is fake toughness! Real Toughness is about defending the weak from the bullies. Real Toughness is about defending the spirit of inclusion and equality even when it's not popular!

-----

As far as I'm concerned, I don't even bother with 98.5 FM at all.

I can hear the same songs (mostly reggae and Hawaiian) on 93.1 or on FM 100, without listening to these 98.5 Wake-Up Crew jerks!

And if I was one of the local reggae artists, I would use my copyright privileges to block my songs from 98.5 until the Wake-Up Crew is gone.

So while the 98.5 Wake-Up Crew has their freedom of speech, so do I!

In memory of Melissa Santos

A few weeks ago, a former co-worker died.

Her name was Melissa Santos.

She was my co-worker at a temp job I had last summer.

That temp job involved the printing, inspecting and organizing ballots that would be used for the 2016 Primary Election.

Me & Melissa would sometimes talk while waiting in the worker's lounge before the workday or during other breaks as well. We would also see each other on the bus.

I remember that we were about the same age (off by a year or two), and that we were both from Kalihi. But because of the school district lines, we went to different schools. She went to Farrington High School (where most Kalihi kids go) whereas I went to McKinley High School  (because I lived about a block away from the district's border).

She also mentioned that her kids go to Aiea High School  and how awkward it was to cheer against her alma mater because her kids are going to a different school than she did!  Another Farrington grad mentioned that his kids are going to Roosevelt High School  so he could relate.   I don't have any kids, but I did joke that it would be awkward to cheer against your kids if your alma mater's team could give your kid a concussion.

We did share a few more stories too, about different jobs we had, and more!

Then our temp positions were over after about 2 months.

But we did keep in touch on facebook.

She did thank me a few times about some articles I shared on facebook. That was cool.

=============

Sadly, I heard from her husband that she has passed away. He didn't announce the cause of her death (or if he did, I didn't see it), and I really don't want to ask. Some people who are grieving may not be ready to mention details so I'll respect their privacy.

In memory of Auntie Bernie

On Easter morning, I have learned that my mother's best friend Bernie has passed away. Though she was not related by blood, she was a part of our family as she came to a lot of family gatherings. We had many conversations, but the funnest ones revolved around UH football, as we attended a few games, and she loved to jokingly talk trash about the team's opponents.

The last few years were a lot more serious as Bernie suffered from dementia. She literally lost control of her mind as she could no longer remember things. She could no longer take care of herself. Her daughter had to make sacrifices to take care of her.

So in this Easter morning, Bernie died in her granddaughter's arms. My mother visited Bernie's family this morning before coming to our family's Easter gathering. While my mother lost her best friend, she also acknowledge that Bernie is no longer suffering on Earth and is now in a better place.

(note: I wrote about Bernie's situation (without mentioning her name) in a blog post written after Easter 2 years ago.

Read viewpoints that you hate

My facebook post in response to the New York Times opinion article "Why You Should Read Books You Hate"

https://www.nytimes.com/2017/04/15/opinion/sunday/the-joy-of-hate-reading.html?ref=opinion

Some Fake Justice Warriors claim that restricting freedom of speech will help the fragile psyches of minorities. Bullcrap! If you're not dedicated to hearing and reading viewpoints that you hate, then you are truly dedicated to having a weak fragile mind! Just like how challenging exercises can make you physically stronger, reading stuff with viewpoints you hate will make you mentally tough!

In the library profession, you are EXPECTED to add books with viewpoints you hate into the library's collection! This is something that is super-mega-emphasized to students who major in Library & Information Science (LIS) because the profession is about providing access to a variety of viewpoints.

So to the Fake Justice Warriors who think they are helping me by restricting hurtful speech, BACK OFF, we got this!

White Guilt is NOT the answer

There is nothing to feel guilty about if you did nothing wrong.

However, some minority activists  will not rest until every "white" person feels unearned guilt over stuff other "white" people did, as well as unearned guilt over special privileges they might have.

[note: I put "" around the words "white" and "black" when referring to humans, because  those color-coded terms are relics when most of USA's people were of European and African ancestries]

To these "nonwhite" minority activists, nothing a European-descendant will ever be good enough, because they view them as punching bags for their frustrations and traumas they accumulated over the years.

With all this guilt-peddling, some European-descendants think the way to earn the respect and forgiveness of those angry nonwhite minority activists is to feel "guilty" about being white, and to join the shaming brigade and scold other European-descendants for

  • not having white guilt
  • claiming not to be racist
  • complaining about discriminated (or even physically threatened or even physically attacked) for being "white"

These White Guilt Fanatics think that by doing so, they are earning the respect of the non-whites everyone!

NONSENSE!

The fanatic nonwhite minority activists will NEVER be satisfied.

As  for the general population within nonwhite minority communities, we DON'T need you to have "white guilt"

We don't need you to shame other "white" people for lacking white guilt!

And we HATE IT when you claim to do us a "favor" by scolding other "white" people for complaining about discrimination.

In fact MOST  nonwhite people are HEARTBROKEN when "white people" are being discriminated too!

A lot of us nonwhites have friends (and even FAMILY) who are of European ancestry, and we don't think they should feel unearned guilt over stuff they didn't do!

The Fake Justice Warriors are not well-liked among nonwhites who are outside the college activists circles.

I mean, I remember Bill Clinton publicly criticized Sista Souljah for her anti-white racism in front of a mostly African-American audience, and .................he still got the majority of African-American votes! He was so popular among African-Americans, he was considered "the 1st black President" until a real African-American got elected in 2008.

And Barack Obama was a master orator when it comes to racial healing. His speeches helped other people understand the pain that African-Americans go through, but he did it without shaming European-Americans into accepting unearned guilt!

Part of this was because he was raised by the European-American side of his family, so he was able to view European-Americans as humans instead of monsters out to oppress!

Because Barack Obama was able to see the humanity among European-Americans, he was able to get elected President twice!

However, some nonwhites (especially those who grew up in mostly white environments or attend mostly white universities)  were in no mood for optimism even after both elections.  In fact, some of the radical activists got even nastier than before, shaming European-descendants not only about history, but also for "cultural appropriation", "microaggressions" or for even just existing.  If you're going to keep shaming the entire European-American population like that, HOW DID YOU EXPECT THEM TO REACT?

If justify anti-white hatred like that, why act surprised when they gravitate to a loudmouth con artist politician who "feels their pain"?

Those Fake Justice Warriors created the conditions that allowed even the most nastiest, vile, spoiled loudmouth to sound appealing!

Those Fake Justice Warriors were so great at making Democrats feel unearned guilt for even questioning them, that Hillary Clinton was unwilling to publicly criticize those activists the same way her husband criticized Sista Souljah.

Yes, I'm aware that Barack Obama criticized political correctness, told audiences they shouldn't avoid uncomfortable opinions and told them to stop looking for things to be offended about. But he wasn't running for president in 2016! People needed to hear that message from someone who was actually running for president in 2016! Hillary Clinton failed to do it!

Whoever the Democrat nominee is in 2020 better be quick to criticize these Fake Justice Warriors at their university campuses. Otherwise, they'll continue to look like wimps while fake tough guy Donald Trump continue to taunt them for their weakness!

The days of White Guilt is over! Fake Justice Warriors had their 15 minutes of fame. Their antics misfired big time!  They're like the TroubleMakers who got knocked out on WorldStar!

====

But with Donald Trump as president, some feel the pressure to feel guilty about being white again!

So the White Guilt Activists are out there!

Some of these White Guilt Activists need to get the  message that their tactics aren't working, and I put them on notice.

On the blogging site Medium.com, I came across 2 blog posts by White Guilt Activists.

The first was concerned with not enough portrayals of White Racist Women on film/TV!

I do have mixed feelings on that article as I noted here

Good to see that females aren’t immune from inflicting racist terror! I’m tired of people acting as if women are immune from the same sadistic impulses that is present in men.
That said, this article also has some excessive white guilt, something that those with non-white ancestry (which includes some of my ancestries) don’t really need from white allies.
Here’s just one example
[QUOTE] But in the Black-ish episode “Being Bow-racial,” Tracee Ellis Ross’s character Rainbow gets touchy when her son comes home with a white girlfriend. It’s not because she’s being “racist” (eye roll) but because as a brown woman in America, she is well acquainted with the harm that white women are capable of.[UNQUOTE]
In other words, she discriminates against her son’s white girlfriend because she had a bad experience with someone who looks like her son’s white girlfriend.
In other words, she is a racist herself. (I’m using the dictionary definition of “racist” not the politically correct SJW definition)
It’s like the real people I know who become racist because “those people picked on me”. In other words, their racist attitude shows they’re becoming just as bad as the people who picked on them!

another person (who goes by the name of Traditional Tradesmen) noted the White Masochism (another word for White Guilt) in that article

Of course, you have to ask who exactly “we” are. Throughout the article (which gets a recommendation from @MediumStaff, who will seemingly recommend anything that calls out white people and rants about racism), the many alleged crimes and infractions of “white women” are subsumed under that tricky pronoun — “we” — as though “white women” were a corporation, WhiteWomen Inc., which, by law, retains its identity and its rights, responsibilities and liabilities even if every single shareholder changes over time. “We” are responsible for the historical acts of WhiteWomen Inc. and of all the white women who’ve ever been shareholders (and especially the worst and most oppressive ones), so that when the innumerable victims of WhiteWomen Inc.’s many infractions finally come out of the woodwork to collect what’s due to them, naturally all white women will need to step up, gleefully bare their butts for a good, hard spanking and get their well-deserved comeuppance. This is true even if many (read: virtually all) of the white women who are now part of WhiteWomen Inc. are perfectly good people who’ve never oppressed anyone or are young women just growing into adulthood and with no possible complicity in any historical anything or, for that matter, immigrants to the U.S. who had nothing to do with any historical oppressions that may have happened on these shores. It doesn’t matter who you are as an individual; it only matters whether or not you look sufficiently white. Makes a lot of sense, doesn’t it?

I responded to Traditional Tradesmen with this

I also notice these types of articles don’t take the following into account

  • there are European nations that did not conquer a single non-white land (you can start with Switzerland, Poland, Ukraine, Belarus, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Slovenia, Lithuania, Ireland, Latvia, Estonia, the list goes on). And yet their descendants are expected to feel unearned guilt over what the British, French, Spanish, Portuguese, Dutch and Belgians did a long time ago!

  • There were MANY non-white tribes and nations that violently conquered other tribes/nations (you can start with the Japanese, Turks, Aztecs, Zulus, Incas, Arabs, Mongols, the list goes on), but none of their descendants are expected to feel unearned guilt for what their ancestors did!
Also this [QUOTE] As this article explains, lumping people together into groups like this actually leads to decreased empathy and increased racial (and, hence, racistthinking)[UNQUOTE]

That’s exactly what led to people sympathizing with Donald Trump because “he stands up to political correctness”. When people are shamed for having the “wrong ancestors”, how did you expect them to react? SJWs think their rhetoric encourages whites to be more sympathetic, but the results are in, and it backfired. Donald Trump knew this and took advantage of that! Sometimes I wonder if those so-called SJWs were paid by Donald Trump as a foil!

Now, I have zero sympathy for the Deplorables, but the reality is that the SJWs and Deplorables feed off each other! It’s like they need each other to exist!

Look, I’m a person with some non-white ancestry with a strong dislike of Donald Trump and his Deplorables. But the SJWs need to stop peddling White Guilt because that stuff backfires big time! Start treating people as individuals (even if they’re white) and that will reduce the appeal of Donald Trump

Now for the other "White Guilt" article on Medium, this one by "diversity speaker" Rosalind Wiseman

https://medium.com/@cultureodignity/white-boy-problems-6bbd0c1614c8

In that article, a woman asked Rosalind Wiseman this question

My 16-year-old son is an open-minded person who sees people for what they do, not what they look like. I’m proud of his acceptance of people who are different than him. He’s politically savvy and we’ve had many discussions about the election. Out of the blue the other day he said that he feels hated because he is a white male. He doesn’t want to be defensive but it’s hard to know what to tell him when so many seem to be against the demographic that he fits into. I’m sure he’s not alone in feeling this way. Any thoughts?

Basically, Rosalind Wiseman replied by saying "None of us are entirely open-minded" and accused that woman of sugarcoating her son's natural tendency toward racial bias just because he's white!

Well guess what Rosalind Wiseman? Your White Guilt cliches got owned BIG TIME, so owned that it was the target of the BIGGEST ONLINE ARGUMENT OWNERSHIP IN ALL OF HISTORY!

This from Svetlana Voreskava

(note: I added colors and made some fonts bigger, but all the words are quoted exactly)

“None of us are entirely open-minded.”
Maybe you should try speaking for yourself and do not be so arrogant as to presume you can claim to know the mind-set of everybody else, based entirely on your own prejudices and whatever new-age politically correct mumbo-jumbo you were force fed in college.
“It’s like when people say, “I don’t see colour” or “I don’t have a racist bone in my body.” Not possible.”
Yes it is quite possible. Maybe you have just never lived amongst a muti-ethnic population. The only thing I know about you is that you have the arrogance to think you understand what is or is not possible for other people. Here is a clue. Just because something is not possible for you, doesn’t mean it’s not possible for people who may be a little more grown up than you. You have the right to keep turning people into walking caricatures in your own mind if you want to. But stop assuming that everyone else has such a narrow view of the world.
“People only say that if they don’t know how racism and bigotry work.”
Do they really? And I suppose racism is defined as whatever pompous virtue-signalling “educators” like you decide it must be.
Here is the pretty much universally accepted definition of racism. It is what the vast majority of people understand racism to be and most people know full well exactly what it is and how it works.
Racism: A belief that race is the primary determinant of human traits and capacities and that racial differences produce an inherent superiority of one race over another.
“We have all been raised to judge people based on race”
If you were raised like that then you have my sympathy. Most people I know were raised in completely the opposite view.
“We are creating a reinforcing cycle; the more we cling to the belief that we are free of bias, the more defensive, blind, and deaf we are to our biases.”
This is classic ideological brainwashing which has been used to demonise a particular group for thousands of years. The major religions used in the form of the concept of “original sin.” We are all inherently guilty even if we have never done anything wrong. The only way to be forgiven our sins is to confess, over and over again. Self-flagellating is the only path to salvation. The Inquisition were masters of it. The Marxists were too. The great purges included festivals of innocent people, confessing their guilt in order to be seen as “good communists” after all.
Most of all refusing to agree that you are guilty (because you aren’t) is all the proof needed that you are indeed guilty. Kind of like a witch trial really. That seems to be the concept you’re running with.
Shame on you and your ilk for infecting the education system with it: This garbage is not education. It is indoctrination and young students of all colours deserve better than this bigoted nonsense.
“I’m sure it’s annoying for him to experience people making negative assumptions about him because he is a white male. But it’s also time for him to grow up.”
Oh my: You have been drinking this cool-aid for so long you would even poison your own son with it! Time for him to grow up you say? He should just turn the other cheek because black people have to deal with it too.
That was another feature of communist doctrine: They would agree with your suggestion that two wrongs do make a right.
“For example, black women put up with people’s negative assumptions about them on a regular basis.”
I am sure they do. Black men do too. So do white men; as evidenced by your little screed. Then again at least there don’t seem to be many people actually making a living from making negative assumptions about black people.
But I can assure you that absolutely everybody has to put up with people making negative assumptions about them, as your son has. But you dismiss it when it happens to him, and cast it as a serious offence when it happens to someone else. I am pretty sure that is not how you do mothering and I am positive that is not how you do education.
But I am confused again over your constant portrayal of white boys as the perpetrators of racism and black girls as the victims. Have you been drinking the feminist cool-aid too? Did you just get the whole package deal on bigotry? Are white girls not included and do black boys also not suffer from racism? White boys obviously do too, as your son has made clear.
“It’s exhausting choosing which battles to fight and how to fight them — without being stereotyped as an “angry black woman.”
How would you know that Rosalind? You look pretty white to me. Lots of things are exhausting to lots of people. How about the far more widely cast refrain of “angry white men” or “white privilege” or “fearful white men?” How many disparaging stereotypes can you apply to a particular group of people in one page Rosalind? Because I think you just won that competition.
And if you read your own article carefully you will find that it is your position that two wrongs make a right?
“I’ve had several teen boys say recently that they just wished people would stop talking about race and that if we did, it would stop racism from happening.”
Some unusual wisdom from teen boys: I heard the same point being made very eloquently by American actor Morgan Freeman too.
“It’s an illogical argument :”
No it isn’t. It is a very sensible argument. Racism dissipates when people stop looking for excuses to see it everywhere. First it becomes a joke and then it simply evaporates. That is why toddlers are not racist. Because they don’t even know what it is:
“The people who experience racism and discrimination have no choice but to think about it and talk about it because it’s part of their everyday experience. It’s only people who are not discriminated against that believe this argument makes sense because they can convince themselves that the problem doesn’t exist.”
The people who are discriminated and routinely castigated in America today are primarily white males. Just so you know. It is also illegal to discriminate against anybody in the US except for white males under certain circumstances. Just so you know.
Example: You have repeatedly blanket-insulted “white-boys” in this article while raging against racism without a hint of irony. Try insulting “black boys” as a group and see how long it takes you to get banned.
“But their response is motivated by fear — fear of not knowing how to be with people who have a different life experience”
No it isn’t. It is motivated by boredom; by irritation; by a simple desire not to want to be around toxic judgemental people who feel the need to make everything about race.
“Yes, I’m male and white but I’m also a lot of other things.”
Oh Mea culpa, mea culpa, mea maxima culpa: Should the “white boy” throw himself at the feet of the noble “POC” while rolling out his self-esteem and dignity to be stamped on?
“He also need to challenge himself.”
No he doesn’t. He is not “privileged” (whatever you think that means) he actually has less societal privilege in many ways than minorities and he certainly has far less societal privilege than his female peers. If you didn’t know that then drop me a note and I will be happy to educate you on the subject.
He doesn’t owe anybody else anything. What he really should do is find himself a better school; one that is not full of “educators” like you. He deserves better than to be surrounded by nasty little bigots constantly judging him as somehow inherently dysfunctional because of his sex and his skin colour.
Have you looked up “bigotry” yet because it is obvious you don’t know what it means?
But I suspect that you do know what it means but you do it anyway. You do it because racism, like sexism; is a billion dollar industry and there are too many foundations and think-tanks and “charitable” organisations from the grass-roots to the highest levels of governments that depend on it being an epidemic, even when it clearly isn’t; and there is all that lovely funding to be had. So let’s get busy and find racism under every stone, in every tree and in every misunderstood sentence.
And if we have to poison the minds of our young students and divide them like they haven’t been divided in decades, then so be it: It is our bread and butter after all. It is in our interests to manufacture as much of what we claim to be fighting as possible so we can continue to fight it, while feeling terribly morally superior of course.
We will damage the futures of white kids by teaching them that they need to be constantly diagnosing themselves as problematic. We will damage the futures of black kids by teaching them that they perpetual victims, destined to be held back by a systemically racist system. We will indoctrinate them with these self-fulfilling prophecies because well — racism is our bread and butter.
You are damaging the self-esteem of white kids and dis-empowering black kids.
You want to stop racism and do some good for both black kids and white kids — stop telling white boys that they have some duty to “shoulder the white man’s burden” and stop telling black kids that the world owes them something.

That was some classic ownership right there! I don't think I can top THAT!  It’s like watching a trouble maker get beaten down on WorldStar!

But I'll add some of my words in the mix anyways.

Rosalind Wiseman, I have multiple ethnicities, some of them heavily stigmatized by Trump’s deplorables, I DO NOT EVER WANT YOUR TYPE OF HELP! EVER!
I am so sick and disgusted by your white guilt, that I RATHER HAVE ALLIES like that teen boy you stigmatized than to have you as my ally!
I am SEVERELY DISGUSTED by your BS virtue signaling by claiming white boys can’t be open-minded and anti-racists! YES, THEY CAN! What you think that virtue signaling will appease the anti-white bigots in the non-white community from hating on you? It’s not! No amount of BS “understanding” and virtue signaling will ever appease them!
STOP YOUR BS virtue signaling and LISTEN TO MINORITY VOICES LIKE MINES TOO!

and also this

and your comment [QUOTE]None of us are entirely open-minded [UNQUOTE] is as stupid as saying “none of us is entirely not guilty of murder”, um, most of us are!

and your statement [QUOTE] But it’s also time for him to grow up.[UNQUOTE] just because a white boy doesn’t want to be stereotyped? Do you say to the Japanese or the Turks, because anyone who learns history know those 2 groups committed mass atrocities and still practice massive discrimination in their homelands. Same with the Aztecs too. I’m part-Mexican, my dad is native of Oaxaca (so not Aztec territory) and don’t EVER ask people from that area to consider Aztecs totally guiltless, EVER!
[note: I would've rewritten that paragraph noting that Aztecs did commit atrocities against other tribes, but their descendants not practicing massive discrimination like the Turks and Japanese STILL DO in their home countries]

Me, I’m from Hawaii, where Asians are in positions of great power (governor, legislature, US Senators and the majority of the education system) so I know what it’s like to feel left out when I’m around them, BUT STILL, I wouldn’t tell them “you need to grow up if you complain about being discriminated”. It wasn’t that long ago when they were heavily discriminated in Hawaii, just like it wasn’t that long ago when the Irish were discriminated in New York.

Your social justice virtue signaling is way overly simplified, that even someone like me (who wouldn’t be welcomed by much of Trump’s deplorables) give heavy eyerolls to the way your Medium article severely over-simplifies the issue!

So please, watch my YouTube channel (especially the “Different Types of Privilege” series) and read my blogs. It shows race relations as much more complex than what the Deplorables or the Fake Justice Warriors make it out to be!
