In memory of Aukuso Tuiolemotu

Last year, one of the star football players from my high school, Francis (Sammy) Silva passed away.
http://pablowegesend.blogspot.com/2014/04/in-memory-of-francis-sammy-silva.html

I also heard Willy Tamasoa passed away earlier this year. I know of him, but don't know him that well.

Sad to say, another one star football player from my high school died yesterday!.

This time it's Aukuso Tuiolemotu!

Here is my facebook post

I first meet Aukuso in summer school PE class. This was between 9th & 10th grade back in 1996. I took the class just to get the PE credit over with, being that I'm not much of a runner nor a ball sport person. Aukuso was in that class as the teacher's assistant.  At the time I thought he was about to be a senior, but it turns out he was just a junior.  I remember in that class he played the role of the referee for some of the games. No one would have the guts to argue with that guy! I also remember one student tried to wrestle him and lost! Nothing serious though!

I remember that we both took the #2 bus to school. He was already on the bus when I got on! Sometimes, I would see him on the bus home too!  The funniest moment was when the bus started to stink and everyone was trying to cover their noses. I had my hand on the nose, and he took my hand off my nose. He was a prankster like that! He also came prepared, with a black bandanna to cover his nose!

He also was the type to yell out your name out loud from far away. If you wasn't aware he was around and he yelled your name, you would be startled!  He was a prankster like that! But you know what, it was all fun & games. Even after he called out my name, he would also introduce me to some of this football teammates.  I guess you could say he made me famous!  Some of the players he introduced me to are people I sometimes run into, whereas some are on my facebook list!

I also remember he would sometimes have a funny sense of style. He would die his hair silver or blonde. For Halloween, he would come in pajamas. Another time, he would have a chain going from his ear to his nose, like how some punk rockers have their chain go from the front to the back pocket!

With all his funny antics and pranks, he wasn't mean-spirited at all! Even with his big size, he was never threatening or cruel. He wanted everyone around him to have fun! You could also joke with him and he wouldn't take it personally!

Everyone had positive things to say about him, even the ones who aren't into the sports scene. Even a benchwarmer from the team who had issues with other teammates told me Aukuso was always respectful to him!

I never seen him in person after high school, though I heard he played some college football, first at City College of San Franciso, then later at San Diego State. Too bad he didn't play for UH, I think he would've made UH a much more fun place if he played here!

I did contact him on social media. First on myspace, then later on facebook. For a loud, funny guy in high school, he didn't say much on facebook! I don't think he checked his facebook very often.  All I know was he was married to his high school sweetheart!

As for his death, I saw some comments on facebook that he had a heart attack. Some people mentioned that they saw him earlier in the week and he seemed healthy!

Much of the other comments posted on facebook after his death talked about him being the gentle giant, the funny guy, the good co-worker, good teammate, good friend and a good husband!

With all that said, it's a reminder that cherish your life now because life doesn't last forever!

Identity

Earlier this year, Olympic legend Bruce Jenner completed his transition to Caitlyn Jenner.

And this past week, the Spokane NAACP chapter president who claims to be "black" (she said she didn't like the term African-American, even though they are not the only people on earth with black skin) was exposed as someone with no African-American ancestry at all. Both her biological parents are of European-American ancestry, though they did adapt 2 African-American kids when she was growing up!

-------

Gender Identity

Joe Biden was ridiculed when he said that transgender rights was the next civil rights revolution! Joe Biden was right!

Two decades ago, the only transgendered celebrity that I knew of was RuPaul, who had a comedic presence, which while not totally a bad thing, gave the impression that any man dressing like a woman was to be laughed at.

Now we have actress Laverne Cox, activist Janet Mock, and the former best male Olympic athlete in the world -- Bruce Jenner now known as Caitlyn Jenner.

They were all born male, but felt like women on the inside!  There's nothing wrong or sinister about that!

But now we have this movement that gets all offended about the Vagina Monologues being too focused on you know.............................women with vaginas...... claiming that it excludes transgendered women!

Look, there's nothing wrong with being a male who feels feminine. But that's still not really a woman! In other cultures, they have a different label. For example, Native Hawaiians call them "mahu", Samoans call them faafafine. They are seen as different from a male or female.

Or you can see this meme showing the Navajo gender classifications

https://curiosity.com/memes/two-spirits-in-traditional-navajo-culture/#meme-independent-lens-two-spirits-clip-1-pbs-pbs

But whatever a person's gender identification is, he/she/etc should never be victimized by hate crimes or any discrimination related to job, housing, etc.

As for the bathrooms, I do think we need more of those "family bathrooms" (for mothers with sons, or for fathers with daughters) that those who are transgendered can also use, so that they won't feel awkward when they have use the restroom.

Racial Identity

Rachel Dolezal was born to European-American parents who also adopted 2 African-American children.  She was fascinated with African-American culture and wanted to fit in to that world.  She went to Howard University, a historically black college (meaning it was formed when other colleges didn't accept African-Americans) and later taught Africana Studies at Eastern Washington University!

That in itself is not a problem. It is good when people immerse themselves in cultures of different ethnicities.

Where Dolezal went off the deep end was claiming she was "black", claimed that an unrelated African-American man was her "father" and not even wanting her biological parents to show up, which will prove that she's not some part-white, part-black woman, but an European-American who just happened to have a tan and some braids.

Well, her parents got tired of her public lies, and when contacted by the media, they told the truth -- she wasn't African-American and her ancestries were German and Czech and Native American. Yes, they adapted African-American children, but she wasn't one of them!

Also, there is also an ironic situation when Dolezal was a professor.  When Dolezal was teaching about racial identity, she asked if there's any Hispanic students around?  A white Latina who grew up in a Spanish-speaking country spoke up!

https://curiosity.com/memes/two-spirits-in-traditional-navajo-culture/#meme-independent-lens-two-spirits-clip-1-pbs-pbs

“Rachel said I didn’t look Hispanic,” she said, and that her instructor “doubted that I could share experiences of racial or ethnic discrimination because I didn’t have the appearance of looking Hispanic.”
Dolezal instead selected another Hispanic-identified student to sit before the class.
“I didn’t think much of it at the time,” the student said, “but now I wish I had said something, especially now that her race is the one people are questioning.”
Now, Rachel Dolezal is experiencing karma big time!

-----------------

And you know what all this reminds me of?

My grandfather (on my mom's side) was of Portuguese-German ancestry and was adapted by a Native Hawaiian family. In other words, a white boy raised in a Hawaiian home.

(SIDE NOTE: that grandfather died before I was born, so I obviously never had the chance to ask him about his background)

Well, because my grandfather was adapted by Native Hawaiians, I had relatives who tried to get their children into Kamehameha Schools, which is a private school for Native Hawaiian children.  That school is currently exempt from discrimination laws as long as they

  • state their admission policy has  a preference (not a requirement) for Native Hawaiian applicants
  • have to accept non-native applicants IF there's still room after the schools accepted all Native Hawaiian applicants who fit the academic qualifications

One of my uncles did marry a Native Hawaiian, but the children went to Waiʻanae
High School. But yes, they would be eligible to gain admission to Kamehameha Schools.

As for me, I did have people encourage me to apply to Kamehameha Schools just based on my Portuguese-German grandfather being adapted by Native Hawaiians. I even had a relative (I won't mention names) admitted to Kamehameha Schools just based on my Portuguese-German grandfather being adapted by Native Hawaiians.

I know some activists might be very angry about that previous sentence! Which is why I'm not mentioning names!

As far as I'm concerned, Kamehameha Schools admission policy is a relic of a time when Punahou was a school for European-American missionaries, and when sugar plantation camps had separate housing for different ethnic groups.  The admissions policy is also a relic of a time before publicly-funded charter schools have been set up around Hawaii with an emphasis on Native Hawaiian cultures. Those charter schools have an open admission policy, with no racial preferences, though most applicants are Native Hawaiian.

I might piss off a few people here, but I'll just say this: Kamehameha Schools changing their admissions policy to all academically qualified children, regardless of race, would be a good thing. Unlike what the fear-mongerers say, it will NOT be the "destruction of the culture" but the enhancement of Native Hawaiian culture. Most of their students are mixed-race anyways, some of whom don't even look Native Hawaiian.  Having a few pure-blooded Asians and Europeans at Kamehameha Schools would great in that we have some non-native students learning in a Hawaiian cultural environment. Plus, if it means a few Native Hawaiian can't get in --- ALL of the other private schools in Hawaii already have Native Hawaiian students too! Of all the private schools I have subbed at, ALL of them have some Native Hawaiian students!  Some even have at least 1/4 of their students being Native Hawaiian (ie Damien, Saint Francis).

As for me, I'm glad I didn't go to Kamehameha Schools, NOT because I'm against it, it's because I'm glad I went to McKinley High School instead! Go Tigers!

I know, my school's name is controversial! Nobody at that school worships that McKinley guy anyways, we worship the Tiger Stripes instead!

----

So yeah, even though my Portuguese-German grandfather was adapted by a Native Hawaiian, I don't consider myself a Native Hawaiian, though I am a proud life-long resident of Hawaii!

But as I said earlier, some members of my extended family are Native Hawaiians.

Which was why I was very angry when an Asian-American guy told me he didn't like Polynesians. He thought there was a chance I might agree! SCREW THAT, I told him my cousins are Hawaiians and so are some of the kids I grew up with! That guy later apologized but I still get angry thinking abut it! This is the same person who complained about streets in Hawaii having Hawaiian names and about the old bus passes listing month's Hawaiian name!  I told that guy to go see a psychiatrist!

Well, like  Rodney King said "Can't we all just get along?"

Angry cop in McKinney, Texas

I don't have much time to blog the details about the case in McKinney, Texas, where police officer Eric Casebolt was being over-belligerent towards a group of African-American teens.  He tackled an African-American girl who was questioning him and then pulled a gun at a group of African-American teens standing up for her!  The other 2 officers had to restrain him!

Here are my facebook comments on the issue!

For full disclosure, yes I did restrain a few students, either those who acting violently or those putting themselves in danger (ie. little kids running off). That is totally different from tackling a student questioning your tactics!

And here's the first online meme I made (courtesy of the screenshot app called Jing)

Not an exaggeration at all. Learn more at http://www.salon.com/2015/06/09/a_tale_of_two_teens_megyn_kelly_josh_duggar_and_fox_news_double_standard_for_black_youth/

: Kelly recently defended his former employer, the Family Research Council — which has been classified as a hate group — for having “strong Christian values,” and she has been particularly sympathetic to the violation of privacy inherent in the release of police reports involving minors, underscoring that Josh was 14 when he first molested his sisters.

“This is a story about a family in trouble, and they went through something terrible, and now are going through something terrible again,” Kelly said on her show last week. In her interview with the family, she also alluded to “the terrible choice these parents faced” in having to (maybe wait a year or so to) turn their son in. Her stance is pretty clear, and it echoes that of other Duggar defenders: Josh Duggar was a boy who did something bad, but his family has forgiven him and he was never charged, so maybe it will all be okay.

But that’s not quite the approach Kelly has taken to an incident of police brutality in McKinney, Texas over the weekend, of which video footage began circulating promptly. The clips show a white police officer, Corporal Eric Casebolt, pinning down 14-year-old African-American girl Dajerria Becton — who Kelly characterized as being “no saint either” on “The Kelly File” on Monday.

Calling Becton out for having “continued to linger” after police arrived on the scene in McKinney, Kelly explained that she didn’t mean to defend Casebolt’s actions — but she did insinuate that a 14-year-old failing to comply with instructions (such shocking behavior for a kid Becton’s age, really) could be culpable for a cop pulling out his gun. The host’s treatment of Becton not only smells like victim blaming, but also seems rather curious in the context of her compassion for the Duggars. A 14-year-old white boy who molested his younger sisters as well as a family friend gets a free pass, but a 14-year-old black girl who got kneed in the back by a cop is “no saint”?

Animal videos

Most of my YouTube videos are vlogs (video version of blogs) where I express opinions on stuff!

But in the last 2 weeks, I some unusual animal-stuff that I just had to film

First is the video of the cat on the rock wall! The rock was located at UH-Manoa and is the unofficial border between Upper & Lower campus

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7gGMyGuWlBI

He was the climbing the rock wall before I filmed. Once I started filming, the cat just starred at me!  After filming, I left the area, so I have no idea if the cat starting climbing again or if he fell off (I hope not!)

=====================

Then yesterday, I saw a Jackson's Chameleon climbing a tree near the university's Hamilton Library.

Jackson's Chameleon are not native to Hawaii. They came from Africa, and someone brought them here! They are out in the forests throughout Hawaii now, but this was the first time I saw one at the UH-Manoa campus!

Here's the video

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=whWmhJyNHzk

Hopefully, I will randomly see another unusual animal sighting again soon!

Who knows, maybe a career in wildlife filming might be in my future!

Professional Victim Professor (part 2)

NOTE: this blog post is a continuation of another blog post "Professional Victim Professor"
as well as "Problems at HSL" (http://pablowegesend.blogspot.com/2015/04/problems-at-hsl.html)  Please refer to those links in case you don't understand some of what I am talking about in this blog post

===========

As the note said, a previous blog post exposed professional victim professor Dr Noriko Asato to the light!   However, I didn't go over everything about why Dr Noriko Asato is an extremely corrupt individual! So now it's time to tell more!

As mentioned earlier, Dr Noriko Asato pretends to "feel threatened" when I refuse to pretend to agree with her, even when I expressed disagreement
  • without yelling
  • without profanities
  • without even making threats to physically harm anyone or anything!

Dr Noriko Asato, when she claims to "feel threatened" (even where there was NOTHING said that was threatening)  she says wants me to respect how she feels!

But this hypocrite doesn't respect how I feel when I read that Tisha Aragaki told Ms LePage that I "shouldn't be working with children". As soon as I expressed dissatisfaction with what Tisha said, Dr Asato immediately told me it's not good to have anger! Screw you Noriko Asato, you damn hypocrite! You want people to acknowledge how you feel but you tell me how to feel? Dr Noriko Asato, it is IMPOSSIBLE to be more hypocritical than you are! Kids who want to grow up to be more hypocritical than you need to set more realistic goals!

Also, for Noriko Asato tell me to not have anger towards those who slander me?  For Noriko Asato to ask me to suffer in silence when Tish Aragaki spread false innuendos about me? Screw you Noriko Asato!  Dr Asato you tell me not to express any anger (even if I didnt say anything threatening), telling people to not to express anger will only make the person even more angry!

This is emphasized in all customer service and even education jobs - DON'T TELL SOMEONE TO STOP BEING ANGRY! It only makes the other person more mad at you, and it will prolong the problem!

If you didnt know that, all your advanced degrees are ALL FOR NOTHING!

Telling people to suffer in silence is one of most psychologically damaging things you can do to anyone! It is worse than calling someone a "piece of sh--". It takes a certain level of evil to tell people to suffer in silence! It is truly a tactic of low-life scum, and that is why I have such a high level of hatred towards Noriko Asato! I hate Noriko Asato more than I hate Tisha Aragaki, because while Tisha Aragaki is too emotionally unstable to deal with simple disagreement, at least she didn't  even try to tell me to remain silent!

Also, Dr Noriko Asato also told me that she and Dr Gazan will meet with Tisha, Dianne Eddy  (HSL director that I wrote the letter to) and another person within HSPLS about my letter. Then Dr Asato said about what will be discussed in the meeting "I will never tell you". Then why did you tell me about the meeting if you're not going to tell me what you talked about! Having a meeting to talk about me without telling me what was said is the action of low-life scum!

You see, Dr Noriko Asato has absolutely ZERO interest in solving problems, absolutely ZERO interest in bringing people together to solve conflicts. This violate the Hawaiian concept of hooponopono. Hooponopono means bringing conflicting individuals together to resolve conflicts. I wanted that meeting with HSL admin to resolve the conflict! Dr Noriko Asato doesnt believe in bringing people together to resolve conflict, she believes people should accept what they get in life and suffer in silence!

--
As for the LIS Chairperson Dr Rich Gazan, while he is great in talking about databases, informatics and information science in general, he is way out of his league to even talk about library management, much less bring solutions to this problem!

He tells me that by sending the letter to HSL director about my side of the story about my problems Tisha Aragaki, then I'm "giving them ammunition". What he's really telling me is "how dare you refuse to suffer in silence". That's when I lost respect for Dr Gazan!

Irony is, when he approved Asato's stupid "contract of silence", he wasn't just giving me ammunition, he gave me nuclear weapons to use against him and Asato! Dr Chin know how potent the nukes I got from Asato/Gazan that he just told Gazan/Asato to surrender to my refusal to sign their "contract of silence"!

Dr Gazan even questioned me with "who do you think Ms Eddy going to believe - someone she worked with for years or some intern" as if I didnt think of that all when typing the letter! In other words, Gazan (and Asato) thinks people should be cowards and not try anything that isn't guaranteed to be 100% success!

You see Asato/Gazan discourages people from having courage. They both tell people that you suffer whatever life gives you and you should be discouraged from attempting to get better treatment!    What Asato/Gazan is telling me is "No Snitching/No Tattling".

The  "No Snitching/No Tattling" is a psychologically dangerous message and anybody who promotes such messages needs to be publicly exposed to the light!

And to this garbage that Noriko Asato telling me to not go public with this.........you dummy ..........that message itself motivates me to go public with it! It's called Reverse Psyhology! My complaint wasn't yet public before your warning!

At that time, I didn't even tell anyone outside of LIS/HSL about the situation with Tisha Aragaki!

But by asking me to "cease any private or public complaints with HSPLS", you are motivating me to go public! You motivated to mention this on my blog which can be read worldwide by anyone with internet connection, to be read worldwide by anyone with a smartphone!

If you really wanted this to be private, then DON'T EVER ASK ME TO REMAIN SILENT!

ASKING ME TO REMAIN SILENT will only MOTIVATE ME TO GO PUBLIC VIA THIS BLOG!

If you didn't expect this, then all your advanced degrees are all for nothing!

It's called "Reverse Psychology". Everyone in the education industry knows about this, because they know if they ask kids to not do something, that will motivate them to do it even more!

This is why teachers are encouraged to say "let's do this" more often than  "don't do that!"  (for example:  "let's settle down and focus" instead of  "STFU everyone".  Notice the difference in words and how students react to those words)

Also, Dr Noriko Asato, you ever heard the story "the boy who cried wolf"? It's a story commonly taught to children in Western cultures.  In that story, the boy warned the village about a wolf that really wasn't around! But when a wolf finally appeared, nobody believed the boy, because he lied so many times! So Dr Noriko Asato, if you're going to claim to "feel threatened" anytime someone express a disagreement with you, then don't be surprised if people don't believe when a real threat occurs!  Just because someone express a disagreement, doesn't mean it's a threat! While it is never comfortable to be disagreed with, it is NOT the same thing as being threatened!

Being exposed to the light is NOT the same thing as being threatened! Being publicly disagreed with is NOT the same thing as being threatened!

So instead of playing victim, why not either
  • admit your cliches are nonsense
  • admit you were wrong
  •  or actually come up with better reasons for your stance!

==========

PS #1 So yeah, if anyone at LIS wants to stop me from doing my next internship because of this blog post.............. I WILL start posting flyers around campus, I WILL contact my connections in the Graduate Student Organization (by the way, their new President is someone I have GREAT working relationship with), I WILL blog more about this, I WILL make YouTube speeches about this,  I WILL go through the chains of command!

To anyone at LIS or HSL who want to talk to me about this blog post, be warned that I WILL note EVERYTHING YOU SAY TO ME on future blog posts!Just like the Miranda warning "anything you say can be used against you on my blog post"

I will even record our conversations, in case Dr Noriko Asato claims to "feel threatened" or if the LIS Chair says  that I "violated the UH-Manoa Student Code of Conduct"

So to the people at LIS and HSL, instead of convincing to take down this blog post, the best thing to do is just write a simple no-caveat apology letter to me about the way you treated me!

PS#2 : There is absolutely NOTHING on here that threatens any physical harm to anyone or anything!

Any claims that this blog post is "threatening" or "intimidating" will be challenged!

This blog is my use of Intellectual Freedom to protest corruption at HSL, LIS and UH-Manoa.  Any attempts to expell me from LIS or UH-Manoa over this blog is a violation of my Intellectual Freedom and my freedom to express grievances on an academic siutation! Any attempts to expell me from LIS or UH-Manoa over this blog will be challenged in multiple ways!

PS #3: If anyone ask "why blog about this, why not tell Dr Noriko Asato in person?" I wish I could, but she'll pretend to be "threatened" if I email or talk to her directly. Well, she legally can't claim to be harrassed if I posted on my blo
g since it's not sent directly to her!

My response to "haole bashing"

A few days ago, Hawaii reporter Denby Fawcett interview writer William Finnegan on Civil Beat. Their interview focused on growing up as European-American kids in Hawaii and facing problems from racist bullies.

You can read it all at http://www.civilbeat.com/2015/06/denby-fawcett-kill-haole-day-situational-racism-and-surfing/

On the comment sections of that article, other European-Americans told stories about their experience growing up in Hawaii and facing racist bullying.

Also, there was anger from some Native Hawaiian readers with the tone of "how dare you haoles complain about racism, you did this to us in 1893, you did this to Africans & Native Americans & Asians and...." and on and on!

Look, 12 year old kid has NOTHING to do with whatever happened in 1893!  A 8-year old kid has NOTHING to do with Jim Crow, NOTHING to do with the extermination of Native Americans & Australian Aborigines, NOTHING to do with apartheid in South Africa!

And if you want to talk about history, let's talk about history! Europeans weren't the only one conquering other lands and enslaving and/or killing other ethnic groups! The only thing that made the Europeans stood out was being the first to build massive ships to transport many conquering warriors to take over far away lands. ANd that only took into effect after 1492!

Before that? Aztecs were conquering nearby tribes, a whole bunch of Middle Eastern civilizations kept exterminating each other, Genghis Khan ran over China,Russia, Persia and more!

I mean, the Aztecs and Zulus were notorious for conquering other tribes and they too got conquered by Europeans!

Tribal warfare, genocide, enslavement, that was going on worldwide, committed by nearly every racial group  before 1492!

It's just that after 1492, Europeans used their big ships to send a whole bunch of conquering to far away lands! The other racial groups didn't have a real navy and therefore fell to the Europeans!

The Japanese were lucky enough not to be colonized and figured out fast "we better start building big ships and big artillery" which they did, giving them the advantage over the other Asian nations that were either in chaos (China) or already conquered by Europeans (ie Vietnam, Phillipines, Indonesia).

But guess what happened after WW2! European nations lost their power! The whole world knew how vulnerable the French/Dutch/Belgians/British were to the Nazis and that they need the US to bail them out! Oh shizzzz, that motivated the Asians & Africans to say "Eff it, we're taking back our lands". So the British, French, Dutch, Belgian and Portuguese empire declined drastically!

The only "white powers" left were the US & Soviet Union! And even then, the Soviet Union fell apart by 1991!  Yeah, Putin wants to bully Ukraine and other smaller counties, but he is nowhere near as powerful as the leaders of the Soviet era!

But yeah, going back to Hawaii  ---- to the kids living in TODAY, all this stuff about "history" is just stuff to learn in social studies class! They're not living in a world where Europeans are conquering lands. They're not living in a world where everyone tries to "be white" to fit in! They're not living in the world of 1893, nor the world of the Massie case!  The kids bullying white kids are not usually doing it out of historical grievances, they're just doing it because ......"(eff) you, because I can"

After reading all those comments on the message board, here is what I wrote there

http://www.civilbeat.com/2015/06/denby-fawcett-kill-haole-day-situational-racism-and-surfing/

Pablo Wegesend
This "haole bashing" stuff DOES NOT victimize the actual conquerors, it victimizes INDIVIDUALS (oh no, we can't view people as individuals <<<<< sarcasm) who just happen to have the same skin color as those British/French/Dutch/Spanish/Portuguese who did some conquering CENTURIES AGO! So this "haole bashing" can also victimize those of Ukrainian, Lithuanian, Latvian, Irish, Swiss, Romanian, Czech, Polish, Estonian, Finnish, and a whole bunch of other European ethnicities that have NEVER conquered a single non-white land! It's as stupid as bullying the Chinese over the Japanese bombing of Pearl Harbor!

Pablo Wegesend ·
by the way, even though I have a German last name, nobody called me a "haole" since I'm a mixed race person who looks mostly Latino (and therefore stereotyped as eating tacos & nachos, as well as not being believed when I truthfully said I only lived in Hawaii). But I think it's stupid that people condone bullying of individuals just because they are white-skinned! And if a European-American tells their story about being victimized by a hate crime, they get accussed of "not knowing history", lectured about 1893, lectured about the Massie case, and lectured about some other bad things that happened long before any of us were born! I could really care less about "fitting in" as a "white person" since I don't even look white, I mostly eat East Asian food and listen mostly to hip-hop! But still, I think it's mega-senseless for people to be angry at European-Americans standing up for themselves when they tell us stories about being victimized by racist bullies!
